Congratulations to Erik Porter on his new position with Microsoft. I met Erik through .NUFW about a year ago and have developed a great deal of respect for him. Erik is a talented developer and I have learned much from him.

Erik has many credits to his name including co-authoring a book on VB.NET 2003, VB.NET MVP, and ASPInsiders. If anyone deserves this position, it's him. Congratulations Erik!
